We had minimal/intermittent wind but near 100 degrees made the mirage something else. We had 19 shooters who braved the elements. I want to thank all that came out, especially those who put out and retrieved targets. Because of the fire danger, we chose not to shoot at the 660 and 850 Coyotes. Interesting note, even with the upper classes shooting at the 550 Coyotes, it was not a slam dunk for anyone.
Our high score winner spent some time on the road getting here from Elko. We also had a number of folks who came a long ways from California. I appreciate the commitment these folks have shown to our club and this match.
I also want to apologize to some folks in Expert Class 3. We had a three way tie for 1st place. I got side tracked during scoring and got the places wrong. Since we no longer have tie breaking shoot offs, I used the rabbits and chucks for tie breakers, in that order. With these guys, I scored the chucks first and completely reversed the order. So congrats to Jeff Steele for the official first. My mess up, sorry!
