August 2015 Order of Business:
Meeting is called to order on 18 August 2015. In attendance are: Dave Roberts (President), Bob Hoppe (Vice President), Olin Coles (Secretary and Media Director), Tony Sallaberry (Treasurer), Scotty Strachan (Match Director), Mike Ceccarelli (Member), Emily Ladouceur (Member), Don Johnson (Member), and Neil Gift (Member).
The Secretary read minutes of the previous meeting, which were unanimously approved by the Board of Directors.
The Treasurer’s report was approved as submitted.
The Media Director reported 167 members, with 47 new members joining in 2015 as of this meeting. A newsletter emphasizing safety awareness was sent near the end of July. Nevada Shooter’s forum advertising renewal was negotiated down to $200 for the next year, and paid on 7/21. Website traffic reached 2005 page views for July, from 695 users. The detailed Google Analytics report was shared with the Board of Directors.
Unfinished business:
- No unfinished business to discuss.
New business:
- Olin introduced a short-range tactical match, and shared a draft course of fire. Target cost to be determined.
- Members discussed covering the silhouette range with a shade structure. Further discussion needed.
- President announced the next club meeting will take place Tuesday at 6:00 PM on September 15th at Bonanza Casino at 4720 N Virginia St Reno 89506.
