There was a good a good turn out today for the Smallbore Silhouette Match with 26 guns in the match— (3 shooters shot in both Metallic sight AND Magnified sight classes so we actually had 23 SHOOTERS). I was in Alaska visiting my Daughter and Grand kids, so I’d like to extend a special thanks to DOYLE ANDREWS and MARK POSSIN for running the match in my stead! Our MATCH WINNER was Jerry Gomolka, who shot so well, he is now in the MASTER Classification.I understand that Doyle brought and DONATED a new travelling trophy…A MODEL MERCEDES BENZ car, so that when I mention the fact that there are no big prizes involved here and we ARE NOT shooting for a new Mercedes, in the future I can’t say that any more!! We had several new shooters (unclassified), who will be put into the classifications they earned at this shoot.Some very good scores were shot and we had 2 Junior shooters attend and compete.
