Where to stay
Reno/Sparks has plenty of affordable hotel options, even over Memorial Day Weekend. In general, the resort hotel/casinos will be more expensive than usual during this time of year, but the smaller properties are still affordable and have excellent dining, most notably Western Village. If you’re concerned about proximity to the shooting range, keep in mind that Reno and Sparks are not geographically “big” so regardless of where you stay, you’ll be no farther than 40 minutes from the range.

What to do
Do you have a spouse that wants to see something other than a shooting range while you’re in the area? Reno is located in a basin on the Eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Besides all that Reno has to offer, such as shopping, dining, casinos, outdoor mountains and desert activities, we’re a short 45 minute drive from Lake Tahoe, Virginia City and Pyramid lake.
Visit Reno/Tahoe is a comprehensive resource for things to do while you’re in the area.
