This was our first Smallbore Silhouette Match of 2018, but technically this was our second one as the first was canceled due to weather. THIS ONE, though saw perfect weather with clear skies, pleasant temps and only a light breeze that go somewhat stronger during about the last relay of the match. We had a pretty good turnout and four of our shooters shot two guns—-one in Metallic and one in Magnified. Bill Heeter was the overall match winner with a 38 (!!) and we had one of the longest shoot offs in match history between Ace Tan and Shihoko Johnson for THIRD place in Magnified EXPERT class, with Shihoko winning. Most of us thought this shoot off was pretty entertaining, with BOTH shooters putting up a great fight! We had two new (as unclassified shooters) participants join us and I trust that they had a good time and will be back. I want to extend a SPECIAL thanks to Mike Ceccarelli for helping me call the line so I could shoot AND for all the help he was organizing the match results….It is REALLY HARD to run a match without help from guys like MIKE and also all the help with setup and teardown that came from pretty much all of the participants!!
