Palomino Valley Gun Club is pleased to present the 2018 Nevada State Long Range Rifle Championship Trophies. These trophies will be awarded to the grand aggregate winners in four categories: F-Class TR, F-Class Open, Any Sight Rifle, and Palma Rifle.
Design elements incorporated into the trophy include:
- a map of Nevada with the county lines
- a star over the location of 2018 Nevada State Long Range Championships
- a silhouette of a Desert Bighorn Sheep, the official Nevada State Animal)
- 2018 US Mint Silver Eagle which is symbolic of Nevada’s namesake, “The Silver State” and the date of the tournament. The Silver Eagle is contained in an airtight capsule and can be viewed from the front and back of the trophy.
The Silver Eagles were generously donated by Allen Rowe of Northern Nevada Coin. If you haven’t been to any of their three locations, please stop in and mention how you heard of them. Their selection is impressive, especially Carson City (cc stamped) Morgan Silver dollars.
