The 18 MAY 2019 match was our second of the year and, though the forecast didn’t look too wonderful, we had a VERY nice day to shoot with mostly comfortable temperatures, on and of sunshine and pretty much NO WIND for a change! AND, we had some quite good scores with several shooters moving up (two of them into MASTER Classification! The overall Match Winner came NOT from among the Masters, but from the EXPERT Classification and that was Ken Harrison with an outstanding score of 38 in the Magnified Classification. Welcome to the Master Classification, Ken! We had one new shooter join us this month and he will be classified for his next match. I’d like to thank Mike Ceccarelli for taking ove duties calling the line while I shot (and this time, my wife only came REAL CLOSE, but she didn’t actually kick my *ss this time!). The overall match winner for last month FORGOT to bring the traveling trophy, so we tried to give away his pickup truck as the traveling trophy, but that, for some reason, didn’t work out—-HHMMM—. Shooters probably noticed that we got rid of the rat hotel we used to use as target storage and moved all our stuff to a 20 foot CONEX we (Chuck Neller, Ricky Malone (THANKS, guys!!) and I dragged to a spot just across the road from the firing line and that made things a few steps nicer than before.
