Unfortunately the SUNDAY 22 AUG 2021 Mini-Palma is going to be cancelled due to forecast AQI (Air Quality Index) numbers that are high and into the unhealthy range, somewhat depending upon what part of the Reno area you are in. Also, though all we have available at the moment this is being written are forecasts, I believe that the AQI numbers may be high enough on Sunday that we shouldn’t be out there. Also, it is possible that Washoe County will close the range facility for use on Sunday and I wouldn’t want any of our event participants have to drive all the way out there maybe to discover that the range has been closed and we can’t know that until it is likely too late to call the match off in the AM on Sunday prior to participants heading out that way.
