Arriving at the range at 7:30 A.M., the temperature was five degrees–although that didn’t deter eleven shooters from attending the last match of 2022.
Tom and Erik last shot this match in February, and I believe they were hoping I had forgotten they were handicapped to shoot Chickens offhand this time but no, I remembered. In total, 9-of-11 shooters had to shoot one or more stages offhand.
The wind started having its affect on the final two stages. Meanwhile the temperature had climbed into the low forties. Still, it was a good day for knocking over silhouette targets, and everyone had an enjoyable time.
