It was the first day of summer, but it felt like the first day of spring, cool, overcast and windy. Due to the temperature and wind, coats were required. The sun was only visible briefly on the last two strings of the day. The wind was up to its usual tricks, speeding up, dropping off and angle changes. All the changes were quick from shot to shot and if the shooter wasn’t watching closely, wide shots happened. The wind was a nominal 10 mph that would increase or decrease by 5 mph thru the string and this coupled with the angle changes made it very difficult to shoot a decent score.

The only difference in the weather from Saturday was that it was warmer Sunday and the sun was shining. The wind was the same as Saturday and kept the scores down. It wasn’t the high velocity that was the problem but the builds, let offs and angle changes.
