All people attending must bring eye and ear protection.  If you plan to shoot, bring the following:

Rifle and ammunition

Something to lay on if shooting prone

Stool if shooting off a bench

All loads must be supersonic at the pits.  Maximum caliber is 338.  No black powder, muzzle loaders, 50 cal., fully automatic weapons or ammunition that would be unsafe shooting at long range are allowed.  Firing will be shot single fire i.e. no feeding from a magazine.  All loads must be supersonic at the pits. Help will be available to get you on target. If a muzzle brake is used, please let the match director know prior to squadding.

600/1000 yard Prone Match and NRA Approved Matches

These matches are 20 shot strings plus sighters and are shoot according to NRA Prone Rules.  There will be three strings shot per day.  All shooting is shot prone. Electronic targets will be used.  Please arrive at 7:30 am for target setup, squadding and safety briefing. All people attending must bring eye and ear protection.  Muzzle brakes are not allowed in NRA approved matches but will be allowed in regular club matches.  If a muzzle brake is used, please let the match director know prior to squadding.

1000 yard Benchrest Match

The rules will be as before, simple and informal.  Shooters will be squadded into teams of two, a shooter and scorer.  The shooter will shoot unlimited sighters and then a record group in a time limit of 10 minutes.  Please arrive at 7:30 am for target setup, squadding and safety briefing in the pits. All people attending must bring eye and ear protection.

Groups are scored and measured by the electronic target and then recorded by a scorer assigned to the target.  The scorer will then shoot and the previous shooter will score.  This procedure will continue until both shooters have shot six 5 shot targets.

The minimum caliber is .223 Remington with 77 grain bullets. All loads must be supersonic at the pits.  Maximum caliber is 338.  All rifles will be shot single fire i.e. no feeding from a magazine. If a muzzle brake is used, please let the match director know prior to squadding.

Other equipment the shooters should bring are a stool to sit on, an electronic pad or other device with an internet browser, clipboard, pencil, front rest and rear rest.  Front rest and rear rest cannot be connected.
