Eight shooters beat the heat and enjoyed an otherwise fine morning knockin’ over steel silhouette targets with vintage military rifles, including the vernerable M1 Garand and three bolt rifles.
As is typical in many sports, just one point separated the top three places.
Congratulation to Roger for 2nd Place with a 1903-A3 and to Paul for 3rd Place with an 8mm Mauser (shooting 200gr bullets!). It’s enjoyable seeing these classic bolt rifles in action on the firing line.
Jim K. looked quite dapper with a white and green golf umbrella. Paul applied his
shemagh to great advantage against the full value sun. Phil experienced a record number of case head separations, prompting his team mates to consider taking up a collection to buy him some new brass.
